Koala Game Diary – April 2, 2008

1) Been playing a ton of Lost Odyssey recently. Currently on the 4th disc, working on the sidequests prior to going back to Numara aboard the Nautilus. About 37 hours into it, and have been playing an hour or so a night for the last few days. Very similar to Final Fantasy, but seeing as how FFXIII probably won’t be out till late 2009, it’s the closest to a solid J-RPG this year.
2) Still playing a lot of Rock Band with my wife. Loved the free download of the Portal ending song, “Still Alive.” I can sing the song well on Medium, but I don’t sound quite as good as GLaDOS. Also, bought Boston’s “More Than a Feeling,” and man, that is a great song. Liked playing it on guitar a lot and even got the 5 gold stars on it!
Gaming plan: Gonna try and finish Lost Odyssey by this weekend. I also plan on restarting my Professor Layton career (I’m about 50 puzzles in). And of course, I’ll be continuing my rocking ways…
