My cousin in D.C. recently sent out a hilarious link to a fellow wordpress.com blogsite Stuff White People Like. I particularly like #11 Asian Girls because this perfectly describes one of my college buddies, and #40 Apple Products because let’s be honest, when’s the last time you saw anybdy but a white person using a Macs FACT! For example, do you know any Azns that use macs? They are far too busy building from scratch the biggest, fastest, PC to play World of Warcraft and torrent anime. Anyways, ideas started percolating in my brain and after a weekend of hanging out with my bad-@ss MMA-fighting younger brother and my Lord Jeff-ian baby sister, check out the flow below.

Stuff Trans Like

Dessert - There’s never been a cheesecake that we’ve met that we didn’t like. We also love trifle, pie, cookies (particularly peanut butter), ice cream, cake, ice cream cake, etc. Yeah, we have a sweet tooth. That’s why we’re awesome.

Camping…for Videogame Consoles – Oh yeah, we’ve done this. It started as a solo lone wolf project in 2001 when a Tran was the first person in line at the local Target for the old-skool Xbox. And yeah, that involved standing outside in the cold for 8 hours overnight. In November 2005, we decided to make this a family affair for the 360 launch. That one involved rain, reading EGM, and eating chips. Bonus, you could rotate for bathroom breaks. Flash forward to 2006, and there the Trans represented again, this time sleeping overnight in mid december in the freezing cold for the chance to get a Wii. 30 Rock – Yes, some doctors may worry that we have scurvy because we sure do love our Lemon! Whether it’s hanging out at animals-only strip clubs, or waiting for the cyclical nature of technology to make our beepers cool again, nothing makes us laugh more than watching this show. Hilarious, fall on the floor laughing. That’s what this show is about.

Rock Band – Yes, we love to rock. We even have our own band, Duncan Donuts. Be on the lookout on Xbox Live. We hope to take our show on the road soon. I play the drums in the style of my muppet buddy Animal, my bro lays down the funky bass lines, my sis is our Shirley Manson, while my wife is the Hendrix-like at lead guitar. And yes, she’s white, and yes she’s a Tran.

Totino Pizza Rolls – We love these things. Particularly the Pepperoni version. It combines many of the things that we Trans love. We love pizza products, we love things that are tiny, and we love using the toaster oven.
